Welp, it's official...I'm into my 29th year now guys. And as scary as that is to me, mostly because I still feel like a child and totally need my mom when I'm sick, the big 2-9 was quite the celebration (minus the hour I spent feverishly scouring for and then plucking gray hairs over the weekend). On Friday, my actual birthday, I had a conference for work...but I kicked the day off with my favorite birthday drink from Starbucks. Yes, I woke up at 5:00am, but at least there was a delicious fall beverage involved, right? Right. And although I secretly wished my co-workers would have sung happy birthday to me...the conference wasn't a bad way to spend the day. Anyway, Friday night involved a quick dinner with my parents, and then drinks and a comedy show with some friends.* And because I like to think I get to celebrate for a whole weekend...Saturday started with banana pancakes, followed by a beautiful day spent with the whole fam, a little bit of shopping, and an ahhhmazing dinner at one of my fave restaurants in Boston - The Beehive. There also may have been some homemade GF cinnamon buns annnnd pumpkin carving on Sunday. All in all...this little old lady thinks 29 is pretty cool so far.

*I may or may not be leaving out the fact that there was excessive alcohol  and a minor hangover involved...but hey, that comes with most birthdays, especially birthdays after 25 when excessive alcohol = a total of 4 drinks....er, right? On that note, I can only imagine what kind of hangover turning 30 will bring.
