Dear Cardigan: There is just something about you that makes me feel way cooler than I actually am. Kind of like when I think it's cool that I know every contestant's first and last name on the X Factor - but then I start talking to my co-workers and realize that maybe that's not OK. Or like when I try to wear my beanie even when I'm inside and constantly get asked if I'm cold (it's called "I LIKE my hat and think I'm cute in it" people). But hopefully you actually make me look cool cardi...because I think I need some cool in my life.

Dear Pants: You've been with me for the past few years, and we've had some mighty good times. Sadly, I think you are entering the winter of your life because I'm pretty sure one more wear might make the thinning fabric in my thigh area finally unravel. OH yeah - it just did.

Dear Tee: I had to seriously refrain from buying you in every color when I was at Old Navy. You are SUPER comfy and super cheap which is super awesome. I might have to head back to the store this weekend to scoop up some of your brothers & sisters. Even clothes need family, right?

Dear Boots: You have become my new obsession. I think it's because you make my super short and stubby legs look longer, which happens about once every 10 years when I find the perfect pair of pants or shoes. And then I wear the crap out of said pants or shoes and have to wait another 9 years for something good to come along. So let's have a great year together OK?
