Sista sista

Gingham shirt: J. Crew Striped tee & Necklace: Madewell Jeans: Seven for all mankind Shoes: J. Crew

Awkard Hands

This outfit was inspired by Holly of Holly Dolly...check it out here. I love the pattern mixing and the contrast between the orange and purple. And we've brought back "the tie".  I used to do this with tee shirts in the late 80s/early 90s...but back then I think the point was to show some belly. I thought I would spare you all my pale tummy and layer it instead. You're welcome.

So this weekend I was home in NY and got to hang with my little sis Sam. I convinced her to let me dress her up and then take part in this photo shoot. We had tons of fun. Maybe too much fun. She had some trouble posing...so we just went with it and did an awkward hands photo montage.

Sam also just got her license so she took me for a drive! I didn't tell her at the time, but I may have sweat through my gingham shirt. And had to refrain from hitting my imaginary passenger brake several times. Just kidding (sort of) - she did great...but SO crazy she is all growed up.

  5. Hey Holly! So happy you were able to check out the outfit inspired by you :)

I am from New Rochelle, NY...it's 20min outside the city. Are you also a former New Yorker? I love NY! But living in Boston has been pretty darn cool too!
